Yeah I was trying to turn the shadows into dark flight feathers and it did have a noticeable dihedral in flight but looks normal for red tailed to me nowKevin wrote: Sat Feb 28, 2026 10:30 pm I see no reason to think that plus that would be exceedingly rare. Red-tailed would be my guess.

Palo Duro in late February
My family is taking a trip to Canyon TX next month. I’ve got college online so won’t have as much time as I’d like but should still be fun. Any advice on what to target/places to look for birds? Are canyon wrens found with any regularity anywhere near there?
