Need help identifying a bird? Please post your question here and if possible include a photo. Also let us know where and when you saw the bird. Other things that help are listing any field marks that stood out, behavioral information like how it walked, hopped or flew. This Forum is just for North American birds.
That is one possible identification. I will keep it in mind. I often see the Woodhouse's Scrub Jay in my backyard during the summer months. This would be an unusually early arrival for that species. On the other hand, this year's February weather (although variable) has been unusually warm and I have spent more hours on the balcony than is my custom.
