Good morning, Whatbirders, and welcome to May! The random number generator came up with a pelagic, so hopefully the second bird will compensate.

As I was typing this, four Great Blue Heron flew past in a loose group, over the salt marsh behind the house, about 100 feet away and 50 up.

This was in North Alabama. Or were you referring to Aidan B's Song Sparrow? That's an interesting bird!

I took this during last month's road trip to Indiana. This was shot in Charleston WV outside the hotel where we stopped for the first night.
