This Brewer's sparrow was a new one for me today. We live around lots of sagebrush.

Hi everyone! I have not posted in forever, but this is Quiscalus quiscula (QQ) !! Anyone remember me lol. I took a break from birding for a while to really focus on violin. Have great memories of WhatBird! Y'all are awesome
I am now in NC for a couple weeks and recently got lifers White-eyed Vireo and Blue Grosbeak.

Black Tern. Wrightsville Beach, SE NC. July 2026. https://ebird.org/checklist/S377326274

NC Audubon protects a shorebird breeding colony at the south end of Wrightsville Beach. Several species take advantage of the protection but Black Skimmers are the primary concern. I try to get there annually but this year I arrived after most of the terns had finished. Black Terns don't breed there but occasionally some can be found.

I remember everyone! Well except for the people I don't.
Seriously though good to see you! I think that only leave one other person I was able to try and contact that didn't respond.
(I'm sure they just don't check that website anymore)
