Old recordings

Need help identifying a bird? Please post your question here and if possible include a photo. Also let us know where and when you saw the bird. Other things that help are listing any field marks that stood out, behavioral information like how it walked, hopped or flew. This Forum is just for North American birds.

Old recordings

Post by SirVive »

Can anyone verify some or all species heard in these recordings? Some heard only's that I managed to record last summer outside of my usual haunts. Was planning to get some other ears on them besides my own and Merlin's but then the old forum was down and I never did. I'll not post mine or Merlin's guesses yet to keep it a clean slate and see what y'all come up with.

.... Hmmm, can't seem to get the new site to load them. Get a 'Wrong format' error and they're too big also. Any suggestions?

I have enabled mp3 file attachment.

Wav files are usually very large and uncompressed. I suggest converting the to mp3 before attaching here.

Hearing Townsend's Warbler, Yellow-rumped Warbler, and Olive-sided Flycatcher in that recording.
