Hummingbird Species

Need help identifying a bird? Please post your question here and if possible include a photo. Also let us know where and when you saw the bird. I am not a hummingbird specialist; that being said, I think it fits a juvenile/adult female Costa's. The bill is short and may have a very slight curve. It appears that the tail and wings are almost the same length. I will apologize in advance if I'm wrong. Actually, my first impression was Anna's, but I changed it based on body size, bill, and wing/tail ratio. Hopefully, someone else will chime in.

It's an Anna's. Female Costas always have white throats without speckling, while Anna's often (but not always) have darker throats with specks of green/brown, like in this bird.
