Raptor in flight

Post by Hooded Robin »

South shoreline of Georgian Bay, Lake Huron last week.
At the time I thought Sharpie but the large projecting head and the amount of white on the cheeks has me wondering.
Thanks.

For anyone wondering I did get a confirmation for Sharpie.

Going through photos the only similar looking bird I could find was the Madrensis sub-species which is spectacularly unlikely.
