Re: Old Whatbird
Dude, I'm insulted by the question. Do you think I just post stuff to the Internet without keeping the originals? What kind of n00b do you take me for?Kevin wrote: Thu Jan 08, 2026 1:41 pm @Charlie Spencer, is the tips and tricks for new birders available on the way back machine? I'd so it could be added here. We might check for any members we have forgotten to contact.
Send me a private message with your e-mail and I'll send them to you.

Actually, I'm having trouble finding some stuff that I posted to the old forum.Charlie Spencer wrote: Mon Jan 12, 2026 12:04 pm Do you think I just post stuff to the Internet without keeping the originals?
I may have thought it wasn't important because it would always be there.

Re: Old Whatbird
My username on the Whatbird site was TexasCobra. I have chosen to retain that identification on this site. I am primarily a photographer of birds and other wildlife from my location in the Central Texas Hill Country. I also pursue subjects such as weather, sky, landscape, garden, pool, motorsport & automotive, travel, architecture, history, metalwork, art, archaeology, travel, etc. I rarely photograph people. I do not consider myself a birder.
You may find me on flickr.com as austexican718.

Re: Old Whatbird
Is it okay if some of us consider you an honorary birder?
Either way, your photos rock!
