A flock of about 15-20 Eared Grebes were in my local park's pond at the end of April one day. I'm assuming they got pushed down by the snow the night before. They were gone the next day and is the only time I've seen them in this area. Glad to have one this week after seeing my first Green-Tailed Towhee last week and just missing out from the week before.

No problem! I do have a few pics of an Eared Grebe, very rare here, but we spotted one during the 2019 Christmas Bird Count in Panajachel in January, 2020.
